A period Empire-style chest of drawers in flame mahogany veneer . It comprises a drawer in the frieze and three drawers running through the front. The uprights are in the form of smooth pilasters with gilt capitals and bases. The piece is decorated with bronze mounts on the frieze, locks, and drawer pulls, featuring palmettes, feathers, and vegetal garlands. The whole is surmounted by a French Saint Anne marble top.
