An Empire-style mahogany and mahogany veneer commode with three drawers adorned with drop handles in the shape of snouts. On either side of the drawers, the pilaster uprights are decorated with busts of Athenian women and gilt bronze feet, resting on lion's paw feet. The commode is topped with a black marble slab (Belgian petit granit).
