A large painting depicting a still life with abundant cascades of flowers and fruit in vases decorated with putti. The vases rest on columns in front of a classical archway. This Baroque oil on canvas was created around the mid-19th century after the Neapolitan painter Gaspare Lopez, known as " Gaspare dei Fiori " (Naples, 1667 – Florence, 1732). Active in Naples, Rome, and Florence, Gaspare Lopez specialized in still lifes with abundant cascades of flowers against architectural and landscape backgrounds. Technique: Oil on canvas.
