A two-light gilt bronze candelabra, fitted with a silk shade to soften the light, decorated with Japanese-inspired floral motifs. The adjustable-height shade is mounted on a gilt bronze rod extending from the stem. The candle arms, adorned with acanthus leaves, wrap around the stem, giving the piece a fluid movement. The entire piece rests on a wavy base, richly decorated with gadrooned foliage and rocaille motifs. 19th century, circa 1850. Dimensions: W: 22cm, D: 14cm, H: 57cm.
