A marquetry wooden box made of various woods, some of which are stained. It is decorated with musical trophies, garlands of flowers, flower baskets, birds, and a romantic scene of a couple playing music. The motifs are set within dark-background cartouches that highlight the beautiful wood veneer. The interior has a compartmentalized tray that conceals the bottom. The box is secured with a key.
