A Louis-Philippe mahogany and mahogany veneer gueridon table with a round gray marble top. It rests on a baluster-shaped, canted shaft and a tripod base terminating in lion's paw feet and decorated with scrolled brackets adorned with palmettes and carved floral motifs. The solid forms, restrained decorative motifs, and use of gray marble are characteristic of this period. Louis-Philippe period, circa 1840. Dimensions: W: 98cm, D: 98cm, H: 73.5cm. In good overall condition. Some minor chips to the mahogany veneer have been restored.
