A pair of porcelain vases with polychrome floral bouquets on a white ground and with gilt-painted foliage highlights on a green ground. The lower part of the body is edged with motifs imitating hardstones. Each vase has two short, gilt-painted handles resting on satyr heads. Each vase is presented under a glass dome, resting on a round wooden base. Floral bouquets adorn the whole. Circa 1840
Condition report: in good overall condition, with wear to the gilding. The globes, wooden bases and two bouquets of flowers are original.
