Gilt bronze and chased Rocaille-style openwork mirror with gadrooned leaves, scrolls and flowering branches. A singing bird adorns the top of the mirror. The back features a chain display system, decorated with palmettes and acanthus leaves, enabling the mirror to be placed on a piece of furniture or a mantelpiece. This small gilded mirror rests on two leafy feet. Circa: 1850
