Important bronze statuette with an excavated patina depicting a nude Narcissus by Michele Amodio, resting on a stepped, round base decorated with water leaves. Late 19th-century cast. Signed in relief on the base. After the antique original discovered in 1862 in Pompeii in the House of Narcissus, now in the Naples Museum. Late 19th century, circa 1890.
