A pair of cassolettes, each composed of a patinated bronze circular bowl with a scalloped rim and radiating interior decoration. They rest on sculpted feet with acanthus leaf scrolls. The gilt and chased bronze bases are decorated with floral garlands on three sides and rest on four leaf-shaped feet. The contrast between the gilt bronze and the dark patina highlights the relief of the ornamentation and the tiered silhouette of each piece.
