PAIR OF PUTTI CANDELABRA IN GILT AND PATINATED BRONZE

A pair of patinated and gilt bronze candelabra, each composed of a winged putto in patinated bronze resting on a sphere and holding aloft a torch from which three candle arms emerge. The gilt bronze sockets are finely chased with scales. The patinated bronze side arms, adorned with scrolled foliage and florets, are arranged symmetrically around the central gilt bronze arm decorated with vegetal motifs and fluting. The whole rests on a vase-shaped base embellished with the same scale and palmette decoration, on a square patinated bronze plinth.
