A pair of bronze wall sconces , each with two scrolling arms. These sconces feature curves and counter-curves, decorated with acanthus leaf motifs and volutes. Under Louis XV, bronze allowed for great creativity in Rococo ornamentation, which emphasized the movement of the compositions. These sconces reflect the fine chasing characteristic of bronze work from the Louis XV period.
