PAIR OF ANTIQUE OIL LAMPS DECORATED WITH BIRDS AND FLOWERS IN THE CHINESE STYLE
Antique paraffin lamp in bronze with a golden patina and decorated with birds on branches and flowers in relief in the Chinese style. These elements have a varied colouring, in shades of brown, ochre, green and red. The lamp stands on four scrolled feet, each topped by a "chien de Fô". Noh dogs" - also known in the West as "Noh lions", are the Chinese imperial guardian lions, traditionally called "shi" in China. Embellished with a glass candle holder engraved with thyrses and ivy leaves. Two lamps available as a pair.
