Pair of covered vases, in finely chased bronze with a rich rotating decoration, depicting a round of putti after Claude Michel (1738 -1814 in Paris) known as CLODION, the stylized handles in the form of horns, held by a seated love forming the handle. Pedestal bases carved with acanthus leaves. Double chocolate and gold patina. Circa: 1870
