A Paris porcelain tea or coffee service, comprising several decorated pieces:
- A coffee or teapot with a gilt lid and a sculpted spout.
- A milk jug with an open spout and an elegant handle.
- A covered sugar bowl with two small handles and a finely decorated lid.
- Six cups and saucers, adorned with gilt decoration and painted motifs.
Each piece is decorated with painted landscape scenes, featuring houses, bridges, and trees, evoking a romantic vision of the countryside. The rims, handles, and interiors of the cups are gilded.
Early 19th century work from one of the Paris porcelain factories with a VA mark in red.
Condition report: significant wear to the gold, chips and restored coffee pot.
