Rocaille clock highlighted by rich ornamentation in chased ormolu, featuring scrolls, shells and jagged leaves. Putti reading, fishing or playing music complete this decoration, typical of the Louis XV style. Three panels with polychrome floral motifs decorate the main and two side faces. The bollard, supported by a triton and a nereid, rests on a scrolled base, deeply carved with gadrooned foliage, garlands of flowers and marine animals. Circa: 1880
