Large pink opaline pitcher and basin, with white and gold enamel decoration of palmettes, small pearls and floral motifs. Large gold bands accentuate the rim, handle and base of this ewer, as well as the rim of the basin. The set rests on a gilded bronze base, with three curved uprights joined by two braces, and terminating in cloven hooves. The whole is from the Napoleon III period. Circa: 1870.
