Large pitcher in pink opaline and its basin, with white and gold enamelled decoration of palmettes, small pearls and floral motifs. Large gold bands underline the edge, the handle and the base of this ewer as well as the edge of the basin. The set rests on a gilded bronze base, with three curved uprights joined by two struts, and finished in forked hooves. The whole is from the Napoleon III period.
