A midnight blue porcelain coffee service highlighted with gold, comprising a coffee pot, a milk jug, a sugar bowl, and twelve cups and saucers. This porcelain dinner service, in the Sèvres style, is decorated with mythological figures in cartouches with gilt frames, some signed "Polyet." The coffee pot, milk jug, and sugar bowl depict Cupid accompanied by young women playing music or helping him prepare his arrows. The cups are adorned with winged putti on clouds. The saucers are decorated in the center with bouquets of roses on a white background. All the pieces are embellished with raised foliate motifs in gold, a technique characteristic of the Napoleon III period.
