A pair of porcelain vases decorated with monochrome Italianate landscape scenes. The technique resembles engraving, using a fine point to create the design with small strokes. Pastoral scenes adorn the four sides of the base, as well as the body of the vase. The whole is enhanced by gilded surfaces that show no signs of wear. 19th century, circa 1850. Dimensions: W: 12cm, D: 12cm, H: 38cm.
