She sits on the dial, which is set within a patinated bronze structure imitating rock. The gilt dial, with black Roman numerals for the hours, is surrounded by a wreath of fruit. The classical-style base is decorated with nautical and abundant motifs. The lower part of the base is decorated with water leaves; the whole rests on four small feet with scrollwork decoration. The Napoleon III movement was added later.
