Paris porcelain set: tea or coffee service, composed of several decorated pieces:
- A coffee or tea pot with gilded lid and carved spout.
- A milk jug with open spout and elegant handle.
- A covered sugar bowl with two small handles and a finely decorated lid.
- Six cups with saucers, decorated with gilding and painted motifs.
Each piece is adorned with painted scenes depicting landscapes, with houses, bridges and trees, evoking a romantic vision of the countryside. The edges of the pieces, the handles and the inside of the cups are covered in gilding.
Early 19th century work from one of the Porcelain factories of Paris with a VA mark in red.
Condition report: significant wear to the gold, chips and restored coffee pot.
