An important neoclassical-style solid silver flatware set, in its original oak case by Gorini Frères. The case, with brass handles and keyhole escutcheon, is signed "GORINI FRÈRES / Jewelers and Goldsmiths / PARIS-POITIERS". The flatware is decorated with honeysuckle, ribboned wreaths, torches, and foliage.
This cutlery set comprises 108 pieces distributed as follows:

- 12 large knives with stainless steel blades and mother-of-pearl handles (not weighed)
- 12 small knives with stainless steel blades and mother-of-pearl handles (not weighed)

The cutlery features a coat of arms with the monogram "NT", the inscription "PARIS" as well as several hallmarks:
- Minerva hallmark, Silver 1st standard (from 1838)
- Goldsmith's hallmark of Henri Lappara & Georges Gabriel with the initials "LG" in a lozenge with a rat between the two letters. Registered on August 12, 1902 and cancelled on December 26, 1923, 157 rue du Temple, Paris.
