Who are we ?
A family-run antique gallery
pieces 18th and 19th-century by placing them within a resolutely contemporary vision. We select, restore , and showcase rare objects in the Château de Peyraud to reveal their splendor. Drawing on expertise passed down through three generations, we champion an approach where quality, human connection , and trust take precedence. In a complex world, we have been offering an exceptional experience for over 25 years, rooted in sustainability and beauty.
The History of the Gallery
Founded in 2001 by Frédéric Sioufi and Nidal Ouaiss, the gallery was established in the heart of Paris, within the Louvre des Antiquaires. United by a shared passion for works of art, the couple has been developing their expertise in furniture, decorative objects, and collectibles from the 18th to the 20th centuries for nearly 25 years. Frédéric Sioufi, a former financial market trader, and Nidal Ouaiss, an art historian and daughter of antique dealers, have combined their strengths to create a gallery with a diverse and carefully curated selection.
They understood the importance of digital technology and were among the pioneers of online sales in their field. The early development of their website allowed them to weather the decline in visitor numbers at the Louvre des Antiquaires.
In 2014, the Atena Gallery left the Louvre des Antiquaires to move to Le Vésinet, into a superb architect-designed house from 1969 converted into a guest gallery, dedicated to 20th century design furniture.
At the same time, a large showroom is opening in Montesson to display decorative objects and furniture from the 18th and 19th centuries. On-site, a large restoration and packaging workshop, as well as a photography studio, complete the facilities. This integrated value chain allows for cost optimization and attractive pricing.
At the end of 2025, the Gallery opens a new chapter by acquiring the magnificent Château de Peyraudin the Rhône Valley. A new setting for the gallery's collection and a place for welcoming visitors, meetings, and creation.
