A small depicting sculpture patinated bronze a young boy sitting on a rock and playing the mandolin. He is elegantly dressed, wearing a hat and a cape over his shoulders. His attire is reminiscent of that of the "pifferari," itinerant musicians in Italyplayed the "piffero" (a small flute with nine holes), the fife, or the bagpipes, or sang and danced in the villages.
