A small patinated bronze sculpture depicting a young boy sitting on a rock and playing the mandolin . He is elegantly dressed, wearing a hat and a cape over his shoulders. His attire is reminiscent of that of the "pifferari," itinerant musicians in Italy played the "piffero" (a small flute with nine holes), the fife, or the bagpipes, or sang and danced in the villages.
