Small sculpture in patinated bronze depicting a young boy sitting on a rock and playing the mandolin. He is elegantly dressed, wears a hat and his shoulders are covered by a cape. His attire recalls that of the "pifferari", itinerant musicians who, in Italy, played the "piffero" (a small flute pierced with nine holes), the fife or the bagpipes, or sang and danced in the villages.
