The glazed lower part is highlighted by a frieze of dentils, four pine cones and a large leafy pomegranate base. The dial is white enameled and bears the master watchmaker's signature. Black-painted Roman numerals mark the hours, while Arabic numerals mark the minutes. A railroad track adorns the hands. The hands are openworked and engraved with a dolphin or fleur-de-lys.
