A "Return from Egypt" style mahogany and ormolu pedestal table resting on a central foot and tripod base, surmounted by three blackened wood columns adorned with Corinthian capitals and raised by ormolu sphinxes. Festoons, rosettes and stylized foliage form a frieze around the rim and edges of the top. Wood marquetry top with floral motifs. Napoleon III period. Very good condition.
