Chased and gilded bronze sculpture depicting the goddess Venus checking the arrows of Love. The quiver rests on a small fluted column adorned with a wreath of flowers. The statuette is signed on the border: "Moreau Math scpt" [Moreau Mathurin sculpsit]. Late 19th century, Circa: 1890 Dim: W:18,5cm, D:13cm, H:46cm. In good condition.
