Large group in bronze with brown patina after Claude Michel, known as Clodion (1738-1814), representing two dancingbacchantes surrounded by three playing putti. The bacchantes are crowned with vine leaves and draped in the antique style. One of them plays the flute while the other carries a putto playing the tambourine on her shoulders. At their feet, two other putti girded with vine leaves play with the thyrse, attribute of Bacchus. The joyful procession rests on a moulded red Marble base. Signed on the base "CLODION".
