On a Louis XVI cylinder desk marquetry, enhanced by gilded bronzes, sits a Louis XVI Louis XVI clock enamelled dial, framed by two porcelain cookies depicting draped women: a young woman in a young woman in ball gown and the young girl with a broken jug.
