Two bronze sculptures with shaded brown patina depicting two mythological characters: Jason and Apollo. They are embodied by two naked young men, their faces surrounded by curls and athletic figures. Apollo, the ancient god of the arts and ideal of beauty, holds a scroll. Jason, a Greek hero particularly revered in Athens, wears a panther skin over his shoulder and sandals. Each figure rests on a stepped circular base edged with foliage. Signed "Chiurazzi Napoli" on the base. Early edition fonts, lamp-mounted. Dim. Jason: H: 61.5 cm; W: 30 cm; D: 25 cm.
