Beautiful Empire-style mahogany and leather desk chair, dating from 1875. Each armrest is adorned with gilded bronzes depicting Egyptian busts, the two front legs of the armchair are terminated by lions' paws, and leafy motifs are arranged on the back, seat and armrests. The original Empire green leather has been preserved despite some wear and tear, giving the armchair its authenticity. This armchair is completely in the "Retour d'Egypte" style. It will match perfectly with a desk set composed of a majestic desk and a large bookcase in the Empire style. XIX° period, Circa: 1875 Dim: W:65cm, D:56cm, H:85cm.
