Large oval jardinière in the Louis XV style, dating from the late 19th century. This silver-plated bronze table centrepiece, which doubles as a jardiniere, features curved forms and foliage motifs and rests on four feet. A frieze runs around the rim and two handles adorned with garlands of leaves complete its flowing aesthetic. It features a removable silver-plated interior engraved on the reverse: "Alice 11 Mai 1899".

Condition report: Very good overall condition. A few holes in the inner container and restoration to silver leaf.
