Mythological subject in bronze with dark brown patina, representing Leda seated, embracing the neck of a swan that is none other than Jupiter, who has metamorphosed to seduce her. Early edition cast signed and dated on the base: "Rogue ft 1817" (Rogue fecit 1817). The group stands on a circular base in Breche d'Alep marble. 19th century. Good condition.
