Shaded brown patina bronze sculpture by Édouard Drouot, for which the artist received a medal. This allegorical sculpture depicts a young woman sitting on a branch at the water's edge, playing a flute. Signed on the back: "E. Drouot". Titled in a cartouche on the base: "LE CHANT DU SAULE PAR DROUOT (MÉDAILLÉ)". Antique cast iron, Art Nouveau period. Circa: 1900 Dim: W:26cm, D:13cm, H:56cm. In very good condition.
