Pair of "Fun" model table lamps, with a bulb cover made of mother-of-pearl pastilles, set on a circular chromed metal step structure with flat reception. Verner Panton, J. Luber edition. The "Fun" collection was designed in the 1960s by Verner Panton (1926 - 1998), a leading figure in Danish and international contemporary design. In the creation of this model, he innovated with a pop design full of vitality, the use of new light-reflecting materials such as mother-of-pearl or metal, and the conception of a fluid luminaire which, under the effect of the heat emitted by the bulb and its thermal radiation, oscillates with lightness. Design period, Circa: 1965 Dim: W:44cm, D:44cm, H:62cm.
