Louis XV style rosewood veneered lady's writing desk

Louis XV style lady's desk in rosewood veneer in amaranth frames. It stands on four curved legs framing a curved belt opening with three drawers. The right-hand drawer features a fold-down shelf. The top is topped by a small step with three niches and two small drawers. One of the drawers forms an inkwell with two cups decorated with lion heads and an hourglass. The tier is decorated with a gilded bronze openwork gallery, chased with foliage. Rich ornamentation of chased and gilded bronzes on the falls, pull handles and lock escutcheons. It features jagged foliage, satyr and ram heads.
