A rectangular box in milky white opaline decorated with straight fluting on the body and radiating fluting on the top of the lid. The pomponne frame, finely chased with flowers on an amati background, is embellished with shells on both sides. The keyhole is adorned with a wreath of flowers. The box rests on a base composed of four winged lion paws. A slight surface crack on the side. Charles X period, Circa: 1830 Dim: W:12cm, D:8cm, H:9cm.
