DECORATIVE MARBLE COLUMN, 19TH CENTURY

Decorative column in Vert-de-Mer marble and chased and gilded bronze. The capital is decorated with gadroons, strings of pearls and floral motifs, and the base is chiselled with a laurel torus. It stands on a stepped base decorated with bronze palmettes. A second column is available, which can form a pair. One column is smaller than the other. Circa: 1880 Dim: W:28cm, D:28cm, H:108cm. In good condition, with some minor scratches.
