TWISTED COLUMN IN SOLID GREEN MARBLE AND CARVED IN BAROQUE STYLE

A large green marble torso column with a Doric capital. The twisted and flared shaft is adorned with fluting. It rests on a moulded base and an eight-sided pedestal. The top is marked "32". This decorative column was made towards the end of the 19th century. Late 19th century, Circa: 1880 Dim: W:35cm, D:35cm, H:107cm. Chips have been restored on the edges of the top and the base.
