Very beautiful clock of lyre shape in elm burr veneer and decoration of bronzes with two patinas, brown and golden. The clock is richly decorated with a chain of foliage and honeysuckle in gilt bronze, surrounding the dial. The strings of the lyre are surmounted by the bust of a young woman with attributes of music. The dial is bordered with petals, and is decorated on the perimeter with alternating roses and daisies, the latter hosting white enamel cartouches indicating the hours in Arabic numerals. The lyre is supported by two leaning griffins in patinated bronze, resting on a base decorated with a bas-relief illustrating a reclining Love, looking at two birds beaking.
