Restoration-period furniture in maple burr veneer and gilt bronze. It opens with four doors at the front opening onto a shelf at the top and 42 compartments. The cabinet is delicately decorated with olive branches and rosettes at the corners in wood and mother-of-pearl marquetry. The central crosspiece conceals a secret drawer, decorated with a vase overflowing with flowers surrounded by swans. The rounded jambs are adorned with gilded bronzes in the form of lion's heads, acanthus leaves and papyrus flowers, surrounded by rising friezes of tulips ending in scrolls. The lower crosspiece is adorned with a frieze of bronze posts. The ensemble rests on four acorn-shaped ovoid feet. It is topped by a breche marble top surrounded by a bronze gallery decorated with openwork palmettes.
