1950s cherry wood living room furniture in the style of Guillerme & Chambron for Votre Maison. The suspended body rests on four saber feet joined by a large crotch shelf. The front opens to three drawers, each topped by a solid door decorated with two-tone ceramic tiles featuring stylized animal motifs. Robert Guillerme (1913-1990) and Jacques Chambron (1914-2001) were the two French designers behind the Votre Maison brand, a famous furniture, fixtures and interior design workshop of the 1950s. Their style is robust, rustic and authentic, typical of the post-war movement. They use waxed oak and ceramics for door knobs, coffee tables and pedestal tables...
