Oil on canvas representing a naked woman sitting on her bed. The painting is signed lower right Louise Landré, 1918. The frame is in gilded wood. Louise-Amélie Landré was born in 1852 in Paris. She began her training in the studio of Chaplin, then of Barias and finally of Hubert. She began her career at the Salon of 1876. In 1885, she was named Sociétaire des Artistes Français and continued to exhibit portraits and landscapes. Art nouveau period.
