Pair of armchairs in the style of Pierre Guariche (1926-1995), resting on four black lacquered tapered metal legs. They have a wide seat and slightly sloping back with low foam-upholstered armrests. Covered in blue velvet. They can be compared with the Troïka design by Pierre Guariche and Paul Geoffroy published in the 1960s.
Pierre Guariche was a French designer of the 1950s and 1960s. An interior architect, he made a name for himself with a series of furniture pieces featuring a clean, modernist aesthetic. Practical and high-quality, his furniture brought comfort to post-war interiors.
