Pair of rosewood and sycamore marquetry sheaths in the Boulle marquetry style. They are decorated with ormolu foliage and pearl friezes. The top is crowned with a molded Royal red marble top. A girdle column is a flared pedestal on which busts, statuettes, vases or objets d'art can be placed.
