Antique clock in chased and gilded bronze, decorated on the main face with polychrome porcelain plaques depicting gallant scenes in the taste of the 18th century. The sides are decorated with landscapes. The bollard flanked by bows and quivers is topped by an urn with leafy handles resting on a branch. This clock rests on an oblong base, richly chased with acanthus leaves, flowers, ribbons and twisted motifs. Three other plates depicting bouquets of flowers on a white background enliven the base. Condition report Very good overall condition, with slight wear to the gilding. The original mechanism has been cleaned, overhauled and is in working order. Circa: 1880 Dim: W:26cm, D:15cm, H:39cm.
