GILDED BRONZE AND CRYSTAL CLOCK DECORATED WITH GENIES, RESTORATION PERIOD

Chased gilt bronze and cut crystal clock. It depicts two winged children, kneeling on two pedestals and holding two leafy garlands. They support a diamond-cut crystal half-calotte, into which the guilloché and partly enameled dial is inserted. The pendulum is decorated with a putto on clouds, holding a torch. The whole rests on a rectangular base decorated with two genii clutching a basket of flowers and each holding a drapery. Base formed by four acorn-shaped feet. Original movement overhauled, cleaned and in working order. This clock is sold with its glass globe and key. Restoration period. Good condition. Clock dimensions: W:27cm, D:10cm, H:41cm.
